Established Commercial Cabinet shop with a great workplace culture in the East Valley is seeking a cabinet/architectural millwork engineer to draw our shop drawings in Microvellum and process 3D products for production in our manufacturing shop.
Requirements:
Familiar with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and ability to learn Microvellum if no previous experience.
Experience working in a wood shop strongly preferred.
Good math skills including fractions and decimals.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and balance workload in a fast-paced environment.
Motivated, team player with problem solving skills.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of cabinet making industry (construction techniques, industry materials, and hardware).
Understanding of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) quality standards and ADA requirements.
Job duties (to include):
Generating cut-lists and part drawings for cabinets and custom millwork.
Prepare, print and distribute production drawings, cut-lists and labels to the shop.
Review submittal drawings using blueprints.
Work directly with project manager, estimator, and production team to verify pertinent details.
Benefits:
Standard work week is Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. (overtime based on workload)
