Inland Boat Center is looking to hire a Service Manager. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Service Manager to join our team. As a Marine Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our service department and mechanics. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Daily responsibilities include managing and supervise a team of technicians and support staff - Provide guidance and training to service department employees - Schedule and assign work to technicians, ensuring efficient workflow - Monitor service operations to ensure quality standards are met - Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner - Develop and implement strategies to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Interact with our second location sharing best practices.
Qualifications:
· Previous experience as a Service Manager or similar role in a marine repair dealership setting
· Strong knowledge of marine diagnostics, boat maintenance, and vessel repair processes
· Proven ability to effectively manage a team and drive performance
