We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Inventory & Data Clerk to join our dynamic team. The Inventory & Data Clerk will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes, as well as maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records of our vehicle inventory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our dealership and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

Maintain meticulous records of incoming and outgoing vehicles, including VIN numbers, mileage, condition reports, and other relevant data

Utilize inventory management software to update inventory listings, track vehicle status, and generate reports as needed.

Ensure proper disclosures, such as Buyers Guides, Price sheets, and Addendums are added to vehicles.

Conduct regular inspections of vehicle inventory to verify accuracy and condition.

Enter new inventory with precision and attention to detail.

Coordinate with transportation, vendors, service department, and administrative staff to ensure seamless communication and workflow throughout the dealership.

Perform periodic audits to reconcile physical inventory with database records and address any discrepancies promptly.

Transfer data from paper vendor invoices into our system accurately.

Track missing invoices to help reconcile service accounts and maintain financial accuracy.

Assist with weekly inventory audits of vehicles on the lot to ensure accuracy.

Cut check and pay vendors, in accordance with company procedures.

Answer phones to provide assistance and support as needed.

Sort, organize paperwork, and file documents to maintain an efficient office environment.

Perform other general office tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Experience in a dealership is a plus.

Must have fast typing skills and be computer literate.

Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets.

Working knowledge of office equipment and computer hardware.

Good command of English both oral and written, with strong customer service skills.

Great attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Valid driver's license.

High school diploma or equivalent.
