We are currently hiring for a full-time position at the Donkey Mill Art Center. The Guest Services Associate is the first point of contact and a welcoming presence for all students, members,supporters, and visitors to the Donkey Mill Art Center. They will work closely with their supervisor, the Program &Marketing Manager, to provide a quality visitor experience that is mission-centered and radiates hospitality and aloha.This role will provide a comfortable environment for all, administrative support, and ensure consistent record keepingfor class & events registration, fundraising initiatives, and overall operations. They will also work with the DonorRelations Manager on data-related projects.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being detail oriented and efficient. Thisperson will also have strong communication and time management skills, prioritize multiple tasks with frequentinterruptions, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and to maintain a positive and welcomingattitude even during times of stress. You will work in a fun, creative space with a small and mighty team with theshared vision of perpetuating arts and culture educational programming in our community. Additionally, this candidatehas an interest in visual arts and art education in order to engage and provide high-level customer service to ourguests. Required Experience/Skills/Characteristics

● High school diploma or GE equivalent

● Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Nonprofit Management, Arts Administration or a related field (preferred, but

not required)

● 2+ years of experience in any of the following areas: administration, arts administration, office management,

retail management, customer service, or similar professional setting

● Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing administrative and customer service support for co-workers,

managers, customers, and the community

● Exceptional computer skills, with advanced comfort in MS Office, Excel, Google Suite, Cloud-based systems,

POS systems (Shopify), Quickbooks Online, CRM databases

● Proficiency with office technology and equipment, including printers, copiers, scanners, computers and tablets

● Background or interest in visual arts and non-profit community programming preferred

● Ability to work cooperatively with diverse groups of people; Able to work with limited supervision, as well as

cooperatively in a small collaborative team

● Detail-oriented with ability to think quickly and use sound judgment

● Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

● Strong task and time management skills

● Professional appearance and courteous manner

● Ability to work flexible hours (some evenings and weekends required)
