Medical Billing Specialist

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Medical Billing Specialist. This role is for a large healthcare client of ours. The role will require you to be adept at handling various billing functions, claim administration, and accounts receivable.Responsibilities: Handle medical billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness Verify insurance details and follow up on payments Manage primary care billing and oversee accounts receivable Utilize skills in 'Accounts Receivable (AR)', 'Appeals', and 'Claim Administration' to keep track of all transactions Ensure all medical billing procedures are compliant with regulatory requirements Resolve any issues or discrepancies in billing processes Regularly communicate with customers to address inquiries or issues related to billing Maintain up-to-date knowledge on billing procedures and standardsRequirements Proven expertise in Medical Billing Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Strong knowledge of medical codes, terms, and procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in using medical software and computer systems Knowledge of insurance guidelines and procedures, especially Medicare and Medicaid Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlinesRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
