Description Network Engineer- (Local Candidates Only- Requires On-Site Work)Responsibilities: Utilize skills in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) to ensure network stability and performance. Manage network security tools, e.g., Checkpoint and Cisco ASA, to safeguard the company's data. Maintain Cisco routers for optimal network performance. Apply expertise in Cisco Technologies for network design and configuration. Implement configuration management processes to maintain network resilience. Design network infrastructure in line with business objectives and industry best practices. Document network processes and configurations for future reference. Use EIGRP for routing in our network infrastructure. Implement and manage firewall technologies to protect the network from potential threats. Familiarity with Checkpoint technologies is required. Experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and other Cisco Technologies is necessary. Must have skills in Configuration Management. Ability to design network infrastructures. Strong documentation skills for maintaining accurate records and creating technical reports. Knowledge of Eigrp routing protocol is important. Must have experience with Firewall Technologies. Relevant experience in the Manufacturing industry is desirable. A degree in computer science, information technology, or related field is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team are needed. Strong communication skills for explaining complex network concepts to non-technical colleagues. Must be available for on-call work to resolve network issues outside of regular work hours. Certifications such as the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) are beneficial. Experience with network monitoring and management tools. Familiarity with network security protocols and measures. JOB FUNCTION Update Engineering about required upgrades based on the field experience through an Engineering change request. Participate in application development for customers in coordination with sales as and when necessary. Responsible for the completion and submission of field service reports and weekly expense reports in a timely manner. Effectively communicate with customers and report customer dynamics to the manager. Assist the Sales team with necessary technical support. Provide on-call support by phone and email as needed to customers 2-5 years of experience in the installation, service, and repair of CNC Laser equipment. Excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills with high and low-voltage equipment. Ability to interpret electrical schematics. Experience with optical and electrical test methods in support of active fiber devices such as fiber amplifiers and lasers a plus. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently in a professional environment. Some overtime required. Travel on short notice may be required. Available to work weekends and after normal work hours as needed. Experience with Excel, CRM systems, and ERP systems. Ability to lift, pull or push objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Additional Responsibilities (not essential) Ability to interpret electrical drawings. Experience with industrial lasers, accessories, and related diagnostic equipment. Excellent electrical/electronic troubleshooting skills with high and low-voltage equipment Education Completion of an engineering degree ASEE, ASEO, or Technical Schooling is preferred, but exceptional candidates with experience in a similar role will be considered. Experience Electrical and/or Mechanical background with some understanding of optics Experience with CNC, CAD, and CAM programming Experience with C, python, or similar language. Experience with Allen Bradley PLC Controls. Experience with Cognex vision systems. Required Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills.
