Mauzy Properties, an established property management company in the metropolitan area, is seeking an additional member to assist their maintenance team with work orders and a focus on unit turns / project work.
Qualifications:
- Three years or more of experience in the property maintenance field
- Drywall (repairs and new installation), including paint
- Knowledgeable about building systems and how they operate
- Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnose appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, washers, dryers and garbage disposal
- Water heater knowledge of both electric and gas
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
- Valid driver's license and clean record
Responsibilities:
- Unit turns; drywall, paint, flooring, plumbing adjustments, fixture replacements
- Routine maintenance such as replacing thermostats, doors, filters, locks, caulking, plumbing, faucets, light fixtures
- Perform duties in the company's Preventative Maintenance program.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area while on-site.
- Assist with rental property transitions.
- Perform condition and safety inspections on properties as needed.
