Project Manager Summary:
· Assist with preconstruction planning, estimating and schedule creation
· Negotiate and write trade contracts
· Manage projects from start to completion
· Manage Design Team and Design Build Trade Contractors and coordinate between design disciplines as necessary
· Prepare, monitor and maintain construction schedule
· Oversee site superintendent & trade contractors and resolve issues as necessary
· Construction Document management
· Accurately track and forecast construction cost and prepare necessary change orders for client and trade contractors
· Maintain professional and good working relationships with clients. Communicate with clients at least weekly
· Provide oversight to insure that projects are constructed to meet Plans and Specs with top quality
· Understand and implement company safety plan
Qualifications
· BS in Engineering, Construction Management or similar
· 5 years commercial construction experience preferred
· Understanding of building systems and Design-Build Construction
· Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
· Strong computer skills including ability to work with Microsoft Office (including Project or Primavera)
· Strong focus on quality and detail
· Ability to clearly understand and interpret design drawings and specifications
· Professional level writing skills appropriate for correspondence, reports and responses to clients and trade contractors
· Excellent communication skills
