Norcrest Tree Service is a privately-owned company operating in Bozeman and surrounding areas. We specialize in tree pruning and removal, stump grinding, and, cabling and bracing. We are a small tree service looking to expand our team. We have a "satisfaction guaranteed" approach to everything we do. We take great pride in our work and are aiming to achieve and maintain the reputation of being the best tree service provider in Southwestern Montana. We work 4 - 10 hour shifts, Tuesday thru Friday. Position Overview:
Tree climber position. Pruning and removing trees, stump grinding, cabling, and cleanup operations. Use of the 2023 Platform Basket Spider Lift, 2019 Vermeer CTX50, and driving 2019 Ford F350's and a 2023 Ford F600 Chipper Truck. We believe in having the best of the best equipment to get our work done as effectively and efficiently as possible, while limiting maintenance issues. Online courses are provided to assist in skill and career development if interested in advancement.
Job Duties:
Climbing trees
Maintain and operate tools and equipment such as chippers and chainsaws
Install cables and bracing
Prune trees according to A300 standards
Operate as a member of a small tree crew
Safe use of DRT and SRT
Participate in all training exercises
Requirements:
Must be physically capable of and proficient in climbing trees
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
Provide exceptional customer service
Must have excellent communication skills (talk real good)
Transportation to and from work
Driver's License
Equipment Provided:
We have the best equipment in the industry and use it effectively to get the job done
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in the tree care industry is required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week, 4 - 10 hour shifts
