CAD Drafter
This position will work collaboratively within the engineering team to design 3D CAD models and engineering drawings that will be used for production of our Large Vehicle Wash Systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
Generate accurate assembly CAD models and drawings for manufacturing.
Manage drawing database and maintain revision control of engineering drawings.
Effectively communicate assembly instructions to production team.
Generate data sheets for new part number and assist in managing existing part database.
Assist in inventory management and ordering parts for new projects.
Help produce Operation and Maintenance manuals for new customer systems.
Write and maintain knowledgebase articles and tech notes.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma; Two year technical school degree preferred.
Two years of CAD experience (SolidWorks highly preferred).
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Assembly and metal fabrication experience a plus.
Strong math and analytical skills.
Technical writing experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a variety of different tasks.
Inherent team player attitude and eagerness to learn multiple aspects of this growing company.
