Seeking manager for a pottery studio in Brooklyn, opening July. Hands-on position managing day to day operations; daily tasks may include managing staff, teaching classes, loading and firing kilns, being the main point-of-contact for this location.
An ideal candidate will have:
Previous managerial experience
Familiarity with pottery and ceramics (ability to wheelthrow is ideal)
Ability to coordinate and lead, and also to take direction
A friendly approach in managing staff, students, teachers, members and the facility as a whole
A strong sense of responsibility, efficiency and ability care for the space from cleanliness to member/student experience
