Community Correctional Monitor
DESCRIPTION OF WORK:
Responsible for the security of a 24/7 Community Corrections Facility and controlling reentrant and visitor movement in the Facility.
Conducts various types of reentrant checks; supervises inmates participating in work details; exercises care, custody, and control over parolees; maintains and administers effective discipline over them.
Distributes Medications and documents dispensing counts.
Answers calls and take messages as needed.
Conducts rounds of the facility every 20 minutes.
Assist in keeping daily inventory of cleaning supplies and items given to parolees.
Searches parolees and all areas for contraband.
Administers emergency medical assistance to both inmates and staff as needed.
Writes behavior observations and issues misconducts.
Observes reentrant behavior through one-on-one and group interaction as well as through the CCTV system.
Administers and documents Breathalyzer and Urinalysis Tests.
Maintains appropriate documentation and writes basic reports.
Work closely with Case Managers to ensure enforcement of restrictions on parolees.
Maintains Daily LOGS and ensures accuracy of information.
Writes detailed reports of extraordinary events as needed.
Cleaning offices and taking out trash as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY:
Bilingual Spanish a Plus
Must be able to pass Background Check
Training is from 0900-1700 then once you complete your training you will move into the night shift.
