What you’ll do:
Build a rewarding career by meeting sales goals for productsand services that best meet our members' individual financial needs
Perform consumer lending functions
Process loan applications
Recommending correct loan type for members
Processing of loan documents
Closing loans and any follow up necessary
Ability to cross-sell products
Offer referrals to other departments as necessary
Basic knowledge of HELOC, 2nd mortgage and insured loan products
Basic knowledge of IRA/HSA accounts
Basic knowledge of trust accounts
Strong knowledge of all e-service products
General account maintenance
Opening and closing accounts, basic changes, issuing debit cards, issuing and redeeming certificates of deposits
Gift card sales
Notary services
All other duties as assigned
What’s required:
Qualified applicants are required to have a High School diploma, GED or HSED. Financial Services background would be a plus but is not required. One (1) to three (3) years' sales and customer service experience is required to help determine members’ financial needs and cross-sell appropriate Altra products and services.
Bilingual ability is a plus!
This position is full time, 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday between the operating hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., and requires some flexibility within these hours, as needed. No weekend hours required!
Pay and Benefits:
Competitive starting rate depending on experience and participation in an incentive plan.
When bilingual in Spanish or Hmong, receive a $1.00 / hour pay premium after completing and passing the language exam
