JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide 60-minute messages to clients by appointment.
Document detailed client history and note any health conditions.
Evaluate clients for treatment.
Advise clients on self-care, stretching, strengthening or relaxation methods.
Suggest future massage appointments and regime to clients.
Listen to clients during appointments and adjust technique as they desire.
Treating clients through soft tissue manipulation while maintaining a safe and relaxing experience
JOB DUTIES
schedule appointments on preferred software. (Depending on working hours)
basic computer literacy, produce detailed notes for each client.
flexible to work a variety of hours.
May need to lift, carry, fold linen, sit, stand, walking up and down stairs.
Handle cash and credit/Debit cards. (Depending on working hours)
Establish professional and healthy relationships with clients.
Cleaning- Maintain a clean and presentable treatment room between clients, vacuum, sanitize and tidy end of day.
may require basic cleaning, and laundry assistance.
May be required to answer phone calls when receptionist is out, use copy machine and schedule / reschedule clients.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Developing ethical relationships with clients in a professional manner.
Communication, with interpersonal skills and the ability to build a strong, loyal repetitive client list.
Strong personal hygiene and workspace hygiene practice
Organized, dependable, accountability, self-motivated, team player & can successfully work alone.
Physical stamina, takes pride in self-care.
Professional and a positive outlook on life.
Anatomy and physiology expertise
Provide all copies of LMP Licensing and CEC (continuing education courses/credits) outlined by WA
State Laws. Provide a copy of Massage Liability Insurance carrier and limits.
PAY & BENEFITS
The pay is $35-$45/Hr. This rate will depend on your experience and certifications.
Flexible schedule
We do not offer employee health insurance currently.
