A steel fabrication company in Yakima is looking for qualified structural steel fabricators and fitters. The Fabricator/Fitter will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for the fabrication of both structural steel members and miscellaneous steel components (handrails, stairs, etc.).
Job Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent
At least five years of full-time metal fabrication experience
Read, interpret and understand structural steel drawings.
Measure, cut, process and assemble steel assemblies
Fluency in GMAW is required. WABO or AWS welding certifications are highly desirable but not required. We provide on the job training and pay for certification testing.
