Job DescriptionRelocation is required for this positionThis role will train locally, however candidate must be open to relocation to any Distribution Center as needed.This Logistics Lead Director will spend time learning our operations and participating on projects for 3-12 months before taking on a role as a facility director (relocating) where and when an opportunity comes available.The Logistics Operations Lead Director is responsible for the overall performance of an assigned distribution center building(s). This role will start in one of our distribution centers for training and the Director will then be assigned a specific DC to support, which may require relocation. This role will own the strategy to create and maintain a first-class employee experience with a focus on talent development, employee engagement, staffing and retention, and learning and training. You will have full ownership of Operational Execution, Colleague Experience, Strategic Planning, Talent Development and Continuous Improvement & Change Management. In addition, you will also create and lead the facility strategy around operational activities to achieve profit and expense goals, provide the highest possible service to the market customer base, ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations, and provide a work-environment conducive to superior productivity, safety, and quality.Required Qualifications-Minimum 8 years of experience in a distribution center environment leading exempt, direct reports.-Minimum 5 years of experience implementing LEAN principles -Experience with financial analysis and budget preparations-Willing to fully relocate as needed-Travel for training requiredCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
