Located in Bessemer, we are a growing second generation business in search for a Full Time experienced Carpenter for our shop in manufacturing Portable Storage Buildings. We are looking for a carpenter who is self-motivated, creative, organized and takes pride in their work.
Your Responsibilities:
Building Portable Storage Buildings from scratch in a Workshop which will include:
-Cut, Fabricate and paint wood and metal.
-Assemble Walls, Floors, Trusses, Roofing, and Siding
-Other miscellaneous assembling and/or fabrication.
-Problem solving current and new products to improve production and quality
-Miscellaneous Workshop responsibilities
Carpenter Requirements:
-Know how to read a tape measure, understand roof pitches, and know essential construction skills
-Experience working with power tools which include but not limited to Miter Saw, Skill Saw, Nail Gun, Power Drill, Reciprocating Saw, Router, and Table Saw.
-Ability to lift and stand Wall Frames, Wood and Metal Panels. Ability to roof buildings.
-Professional work ethic
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Sense of anticipation and responsibility
-Transportation to work
Required experience: Carpentry 3+ years

Hiring rate commensurate with experience ($14 to $18)
Full Time Position. 40 Hour Work Weeks
Employment contingent upon background check, credit check and drug screen.
