Are you a Field Maintenance Technician who is a self-starter with a can-do attitude, and looking for career growth? If so, we just might have the position for you! We are searching for a full-time Field Maintenance Technician to support our residential portfolio of homes in the greater Birmingham area by handling and fulfilling maintenance requests.
Responsibilities:
>Respond to and resolve residential maintenance issues in the areas of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, appliance repair, and more
>Support the local team in maintaining records, including Work Orders and Purchase Orders
>Administrative duties including tracking and keeping reports updated, phone, and computer use
>Perform tasks, special projects, and other duties as assigned to support local team
Requirements:
>Must own basic construction tools
>Valid driver’s license, use of a personal vehicle and adequate automobile insurance
>Must provide a copy of their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
>Ability to and comfortable with spending majority of workday driving and/or in the field
>Strong organizational skills, specifically problem management, multitasking and time-management
>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
>Team player with strong work ethic
Preferred
>HVAC certification
>Experience working in residential real estate industry
