Work you'll do

The Deltek Technology Analyst will be responsible for the Technical Support of Government and Professional Services environments. This will include Engineering and Operational activities.

• Partners with Data Owners, Product Owners & Project Architects to understand the business requirements, propose best in class solutions, and implement solutions based on these requirements
• Consults with various project teams to ensure that systems are integrated into various applications & comprehensively tested to ensure system robustness, acceptable performance, and reliability
• Creates and contributes to policies, technical procedures, technical documentation, awareness, and cross team training
• Continually develops advanced skills and strives to foster broader organizational maturity in these areas

PROJECT SKILLS

• Represents the Deltek Administrator team on projects, providing coordination, and point of contact to the project team
• Demonstrates a working ability to provide accurate project estimates and timelines
• Demonstrates an ability to manage multiple project deliverables on multiple projects effectively

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

• Manages the application through its entire lifecycle
• Demonstrates a working ability to foster a cooperative environment with the entire project team who understands the culture and how to be effective in it

Technology & Infrastructure

The Technology and Infrastructure Organization works together to transform how ITS deploys technologies and services to meet the dynamic needs of Deloitte professionals and help increase their productivity.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Information Systems preferred or equivalent educational or professional experience and/or qualifications
• 3+ years infrastructure experience with several of the following: Deltek applications administration, Windows administration, Linux administration, System Integrations, SQL Server, or Oracle
• Strong analytical, problem-solving for the timely resolution of complex customer issues
• Ability to work non-standard shifts and/or on-call to support the requirements of the organization
• US Citizenship
• Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines
• Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to interact effectively with various levels of management and staff in both technical and business roles
• Excellent communication skills, interpersonal and technical writing skills
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Limited / Occasional travel to conferences, training, Deloitte locations in US and India

Preferred:

TECHNOLOGY/TOOL SKILLS

• 5+ years of Database Administration and Information Technology services experience desired
• Experience related to support of infrastructure platforms (e.g. Intel servers, SAP, networking, etc.)
• Technical Support of Deltek Costpoint, Cognos, TM1, Integrify, Mulesoft, Dreamfactory & SAP Data Services is desired
• Ability to innovate and to learn new skills as required in supporting a continually changing technical environment
• Provide expertise when consulted as a subject matter expert
• Provide direct support to development teams and QA teams
• Create standards and best practices following ITIL and SAFe guidelines, capacity planning, and integration with Deloitte technical support teams in multiple geographical locations
• Responsible for establishing and executing business recoveries and procedures
• Able to implement processes to continue to improve operational stability
• Work with vendors to build technology roadmaps, evaluate products or solutions and recommend direction based on annual ITS objectives
