Work you'll do
  • Implementation and troubleshooting experience on CISCO ftd devices 4100/9300
  • Proficient understanding of relevant security technologies, such as malware management, network forensics, flow analysis, ids/ips, etc.
  • Implementation and troubleshooting experience on industry standard protocols/technology including ipsec vpn, anyconnect, clientless vpn, clustering, url filtering, threat defense, fmc etc.
  • Expertise in packet analysis and network traffic flow identification
  • Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis, remote access methods and systems, stateful inspection firewalls, encryption, authentication and authorization technology.
  • Basic understanding of industry standards in operations such as itil processes e.g. change management, configuration management, problem management, incident management , SIXSIGMA standards etc.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Continuously interacting with customers over voice, emails and remote screen sharing to resolve issues within the sla.
  • Administer the process and review, approve, and execute policy change requests
  • Documenting the solutions provided to the customers in the ticketing tool.
  • Troubleshooting p1/p2 incidents interacting with different team for the timely resolution within the sla.
  • Provide vpn management and administration. configuring site to site vpns, zoning failover,
  • Defining and managing the firewall policies
  • Documentation of rca in proper rca template.
  • Best practices or preventive measure implementation based on the rca action items.
  • Create process documents based on the new integrations.
  • Interact with different process owners from infra, network and application teams.
  • Organizing team meeting and knowledge sharing sessions.
  • Good communication skills and team handling skills.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Minimum 4 plus years' experience in CISCO asa firewalls, fire power ftd / fmc sourcefire utm CISCO ftd modules including ips/ids module .
  • Travel up to 15%
  • Experience using cyber reconnaissance to support a federal client
  • Experience working with cloud infrastructure
  • Experience utilizing software asset management

Preferred:
  • Prior professional services or federal consulting experience
  • Previous Security Operations Center experience
  • Experience in mobile and endpoint security
  • Security+, CEH, CISSP)
