Responsibilities

Purpose:

Establish, manage, and promote seamless interconnectivity among Altec's HRIS systems and technology tools. Optimize end user experience, information sharing, collaboration, learning, and performance support throughout Altec by streamlining business process and system configuration.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead or significantly contribute to implementations and evaluations of all HR Systems enhancements, as well as related business process improvements and systems
  • Lead Rapid Continuous Improvement (RCI) events to help identify, analyze, and interpret learning/development business opportunities and requirements
  • Prepare Functional Design documents for technical resources
  • Plan and organize work to execute Systems project and initiatives
  • Manage roles: assess current state, develop role-based permissions, approve permission requests
  • Resolve complex issues involving a suite of integrated applications without supervision
  • Integrate with IS to ensure software supports best practices and technical issues are resolved
  • May mentor and direct the work of others including direct reports and other team members
  • Provide user support for Altec associates via phone, email, and in person
  • Track and maintain constant communication with users from the beginning to the end of any established case, issue, or concern

Education, Experience, and Skills Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline strongly preferred, but consideration may be given to an exceptional candidate with ten years relevant work experience
  • At least six years of relevant work experience required
