Strategy professionals serve as trusted advisors to executive leadership, working with them to make clear, data-driven choices about where to play and how to win in order to drive growth and unlock enterprise value.

Work You'll Do

We are seeking an experienced Strategy Manager to help define how Deloitte will leverage emerging technologies and work with strategic partners to shape new markets, harness innovative technologies, and create new business models to better serve the needs of our clients. This is a high visibility role that will provide exposure to senior firm leadership through a range of strategy projects including business unit growth strategy, industry growth strategy, strategic planning, business model analysis and operating model design.

Responsibilities
  • Lead development of actionable strategies to drive growth across selected businesses, industries, market offerings and focus areas
  • Analyze emerging technology trends, develop technology outlooks, synthesize implications and recommendations relevant to areas under study
  • Develop quantitative models for market sizing, business cases, scenario analysis
  • Research and analyze emerging business and operating models and apply to address E&A business problem under development
  • Manage strategy projects with multiple work streams
  • Manage primary research including developing research hypotheses, questionnaire design, interviewing subject matter expert, and synthesis of findings
  • Develop strategy storyboards and adapt messaging to different stakeholder groups
  • Work with key stakeholder groups to gain buy-in on analysis conclusions and recommendations
  • Develop executive presentations for senior firm leaders
  • Manage client relationships, engagement risks, and project planning and budgeting
  • Serve as performance manager and coach for junior staff

Qualifications

Required:
  • Undergraduate degree (Engineering, sciences, or business with analytical and quantitative focus preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience shaping growth opportunities for alliances or technology-enabled offerings
  • Ability to travel 0-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:
  • MBA or Master's degree
  • Experience within a management consulting, corporate, or business unit strategy function
  • Ability to identify and analyze technology trends, synthesize technology outlooks, analyze/shape business and operating model designs
  • Experience developing quantitative models to support market analysis
  • Track record of applying creative thinking to produce breakthrough strategies
  • Experience with storyboarding and messaging across different stakeholder groups in a matrixed organization
  • Executive presence and presentation skills, with demonstrable ability to effectively influence upward decision making
  • Project management skills and experience managing a multi-disciplinary team

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $211,850.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
