Our work depends on a Sr Evaluation Specialist joining our Deployer Support Unit team to support pandemic response activities in the Division of Emergency Operations at the CDC in Atlanta, GA.This role can be fully remote!At GDIT, we put our people first. As a Sr Evaluation Specialist supporting Covid-19 Pandemic Response activities, a typical day will include:Collecting survey data from Pandemic responders related to their experiences in the field or in the Emergency Operations Center

Coordinating qualitative and quantitative data collection at the responder level

Collect, synthesize, and report data for use by leadership

Summarize information by field responders through survey or debrief sessions

Produce presentations and reports to brief leadership and stakeholders.

Conduct descriptive and inferential statistical analysis

Provide qualitative analysis using Maxqda and Atlas TI. Managing and coordinating formatting, coding data, creating snapshots, qualitative analysis

Providing coding Providing Data Visualization expertise for the analysis and presentation of data using current tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Fusion Charts, etc

Use of mixed methods research to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to provide deeper more meaningful information for use in determining program effectiveness

Collecting survey data from Pandemic responders related to their experiences in the field or in the Emergency Operations Center

Coordinating qualitative and quantitative data collection at the responder level

Collect, synthesize, and report data for use by leadership

SAS, R, Stata

Required Skills and Experience:A Masters in Public Health or similar discipline

4+ years of relevant experience in qualitative analysis

Experience in qualitative analysis with Maxqda, Atlas TI or equivalent

Experience with Redcap

Desired Skills and Experience:The selected applicant will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Public Trust. An existing Public Trust is preferred

Programming experience, such as in SAS, R, Python or other statistical tools
