Recreational Ministries Assistant at Enterprise First United Methodist Church (EFUMC)
EFUMC is searching for a Part-time Recreational Ministries Assistant to work with the Childrens Ministry and the Youth Ministry programs to plan, coordinate, and conduct recreation activities in a variety of areas around the calendar year. Depending on the program area, the Recreational Ministries Assistant will report to the Director of Childrens Ministries or the Director of Youth Ministries.
The major responsibilities of the Recreational Ministries Assistant are to work with:
= The Director of Childrens Ministries:
= To plan and conduct recreational activities for children attending the Wonderful Wednesday program each week during the school year.
= To plan, schedule, promote, and conduct a childrens basketball program on Saturdays over a ten-week span.
= To plan, schedule, promote, and conduct a childrens flag football program on Saturdays over a ten-week span.
= To plan and conduct recreational activities for the week of Vacation Bible School, which typically takes place during the month of June.
= The Director of Youth Ministries:
= To plan and conduct weekly recreational activities for those participating in the Youth Program.
= To plan and conduct recreational activities for Youth Week, which typically takes place during the month of June.
= To prepare EFUMCs youth for the annual softball season in the Spring.
= Work with the Director or Childrens Ministries and the Director of Youth Ministries to meet other recreational needs for their respective programs as requested.
This is a part-time position with the Recreational Ministries Assistant expected to spend an estimated 10 to 12 hours per week on the EFUMC Campus performing the duties assigned, some of which will take place on Saturdays. The Recreational Ministries Assistant is compensated at the rate of $12 per hour. There are no benefits associated with this position.
