Basic knowledge of power tools and machine guarding.
Be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Be able to work in all outdoor weather conditions (ie. winter cold, summer heat, rain, windy conditions, etc.)
Be able to be trained on how to operate a moffett for cage repairs, (loading & unloading from trailers, make necessary repairs to cages while on forks.)
Basic knowledge of painting.
Basic mechanic skills.
Familiar with LOTO (lock out tag out) procedures.
Be able to maintain inventory (welding materials and personal protective equipment, rods, metal, cage doors, nuts, bolts, etc.) and re-order when needed.
Able to assist live production with certain task when needed.
Be able to operate company vehicles for transport of parts and drivers when needed. (Driving Record Check, Copy of Driver’s License, Abide the Light Duty Driver’s Policy, and must attend Smith System course must be attained to be able to operate company vehicle.)
