If interested, please email resume to mcooley@apexsystems.com \ \ ?Experience with multiple software tool suites and establishing SW development pipelines\ \ \ \ Jenkins, Bitbuckit, Crucible, Ansible, \ \ Jira administration (Nice to have)\ \ System Administration Experience\ \ Sec+ (Nice to have)\ \ \ JD\ \ \ \ Design, develop, deploy, manage and maintain physical and virtual lab environments across all security domains in support of systems-of-systems level simulation activities that assess MDS performance across a mix of custom built and\ \ Develop and deploy standard Windows and Linux desktop and server configurations across all security domains\ \ Maintain a prioritized list of simulation or computing issues/needs and advocate for program resolution in a timely fashion so that organizational analysis and development objectives are not compromised\ \ Other lab related simulations duties to include administering SQL databases and Apache web server installations, tracking and allocating MATLAB toolbox licenses, and helping to specify hardware and software purchases in support of future simulation efforts\ \ Enable standardization within the software/simulation development environments, automated build and test processes, deployment of new simulation and analysis tools\ \ Implement and maintain continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines\ \ Writing and maintaining scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python, etc) in support of automation, installation, deployment and configuration\ \ \ Configuration Management support administering Subversion repositories across several classification levels - planning, data transfers, user admin, branching, and development of best practices for implementing and maintaining standardized simulation analysis configurations.\ \ The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.\ \ Basic Qualifications:\ \ \ \ Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline preferred from an accredited university and 9 years of related experience, or a Master's Degree and 7 years of related experience, or 4 years of related experience with a PhD.\ \ Experience in overseeing development and operations (DevOps) and related skills.\ \ Experience with distributed interactive simulations.\ \ Experience with ESXi, or similar hypervisor, SQL databases, Apache, Linux scripting, GitLab, GCC, and Linux environments (RHEL7, Ubuntu, CentOS.\ \ A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance is required to start.\ \ \ Preferred Qualifications:\ \ \ \ Subject Matter Expertise in DevOps in the above identified operating systems within a Modeling and Simulations development lab environment\ \ Experience supporting large, complex systems\ \ A current active in-scope U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.\ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \ EEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
