Looking for the right person to assist with cabinets, counters, tile and stone, flooring, trim and numerous other construction tasks. Experience not as important as reliability and ability to learn. I'm willing to train and teach every step, so it's a great opportunity for someone starting out or in a business you dislike or for people who don't respect you.
Currently we have a new house on Smith Lake that's nearly done, but we have 11 more new houses in SE Decatur already going up. LOTS of work for the foreseeable future.
This is a helper position, starting at $12 an hour. If you have many years of experience or are so skilled you expect a lot more to start, this is not your job. Please don't waste my time and yours calling to see if I can be talked into a different situation.
Transportation is a must. Basic carpentry tools are a plus. All other tools provided. I don't care what color you are or where you came from as long as you are reliable and can follow instruction in English. We have rental properties I maintain, so there are opportunities to learn many other trades. Five days, eight hours (minimum). Weekend work always optional but happens often.
