Part time shop helper needed. Duties include: cleaning and refurbishing engine parts, helping with engine removals and installations, doing minor repairs, keeping work area and benches neat and clean, maintaining equipment and tools as needed. I am semi retired, and rebuild gas and diesel engines as a hobby. I specialize in muscle car engines, some extreme race engines, and older engines from the 90's back to the flat head era. I need someone who can follow detailed and simple instructions and procedures. I would need help in the afternoons for approximately 3 hours a day, several days a week. The better you work, the more hours I will give you. If you are a gear head, this is a great opportunity to learn much more than you can imagine. You must know your way around tools, and know the difference between metric and SAE threads. SAFETY is a daily goal! You need reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Work shoes, shirt, and long pants must be worn. Pay will be discussed during interview.
