Job Description: SAIC is hiring Software Engineers in Huntsville, AL to support the Joint Technology Center's Systems Integration Laboratory (JSIL). In this role you will be working in a fast paced and exciting environment building UAS tactical simulation software for the Army and Air Force.
About the Program: The JSIL leverages scrum agile teams to iteratively produce high quality software for the warfighters to train in a realistic simulation environment. This simulation environment includes Full Motion Video, Moving Target Indicator, radar and Fixed Frame Imagery capabilities that closely mimic real world tactical systems.
Primary Technologies: C# / .NET
Duties and Responsibilities:
Designs and develops UAS simulation software as part of an agile team.
Reports daily status and blockages to Scrum Master and Product Owner.
Corrects bugs in the software as assigned by the Product Owner during the sprint.
Writes automated tests using programs such as Selenium and Appium.
Participates in team and program planning events to achieve alignment
Qualifications Required Education, SKills, and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, software engineering or similar technical degree
0-3 years' experience as a software developer on a project
Classroom, Internship, or professional experience programming with C#/.NET
Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design patterns
Familiarity with Agile Scrum and SAFe methodologies
Experience/familiarty with WPF and/or multi-threading is a plus
US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
