We are a boat repair shop and are in search of a fiberglass technician with experience in fiberglass repairs. Must have experience with fiberglass repairs.
Prepares fiberglass, for painting, gelcoat, and paints parts, equipment, interiors, and exteriors of boats, using brushes, spray guns, and rollers: Mixes solvents according to formula, and immerses parts in solution or washes surfaces to remove grease, rust, scale, and dirt.
Mixes and matches colors of paint and gelcoats.
Sands surfaces between coats and polishes final coat to specified finish.
Select precut fiberglass mats, cloth, materials as required for repair of vessel.
Mix catalysts into resins, and saturate cloth and mats with mixtures, using brushes and air rollers.
