Position: Sr Programmer Analyst
Duration: 6 month-maybe extended
Location: Montgomery AL (Onsite from day1)

Job Description
The Senior Programmer Analyst will be responsible for developing and supporting the Advantage Human Resource Management (HRM) application utilizing CGI toolsets, SQL coding and other authorized development tools.

  • SQL coding 8+ years work experience
  • Experience in the following skillsets is a plus: XML, SSIS packages, Java and/or API real time processing.
  • Experience or willingness to learn and maintain HRM application configuration management using administration toolsets

Skills Required
  • Collaborate in gathering and documenting change requirements from end users and management.
  • Translate high-level conceptual ideas into technical requirements.
  • Develop and test HRM application updates.
  • Responsible for implementing changes as required by the State of Alabama.
  • SQL Coding
  • 8+ years work experience (required for position)
  • Experience in the following skillsets is a plus: XML, SSIS, java, API, JEXL and real-time interface processing
  • Previous experience or willingness to learn CGI Advantage HRM (Human Resource Management) application configuration management using administrator style menus

Skills Preferred
  • Interactive communication tools and protocols such as FileZilla, Putty, ssh, FTP
  • .bat scripts
  • SSIS package creation and support
  • willingness to learn other toolsets like Actian Dataconnect and/or other XML generation toolsets

Experience Required
  • SQL Coding 8+ years work experience
  • Experience in the following skillsets is a plus: XML, SSIS, java, API and real-time interface processing
  • Previous experience or willingness to learn CGI HRM application configuration management using administrator style menus.
  • Human resource applications
  • Personnel/Payroll processes
  • Application development life cycles (business requirements, test scripts, UAT testing)

Experience Preferred
  • SQL Server Integration Services

Education Required
Bachelor degree in Computer Science
