Stone Equipment Company is offering an excellent opportunity for a Service Technician who is ready to grow their career with advancement potential and long-term employment. To continue with our success and steady growth, we are searching for qualified and ambitious individuals to perform maintenance and repairs of complex equipment with limited or no supervision in a highly skilled, safe, and professional manner.
Responsibilities will include the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer equipment. You will be expected to use independent judgement and consult with customer on repairs. You will also be responsible for service documentation, training of other technicians, demonstration of equipment for customer use, and when necessary be able to accurately order needed parts from vendors and manufacturers. Occasional travel to customer sites with overnight stays or extended work. This challenging and rewarding position paves the way for advancement into the roles of Lead Service Technician and Service Manager.
To be qualified, all applicants must have at least 2 years of experience with standard practices, using tools and equipment in the repair and maintenance of heavy equipment and engines. Must be able to a drug test. Must be able to communicate with other employees, customer on-site personnel, and manufacturer personnel. Must be able to read manuals. Must have own tools. Ability to lift, push pull 75lbs repeatedly. Valid driver's license for required for field technician position, not required for shop position. Welding with use of gas or electric equipment would be a plus. Any technician qualifications from major manufacturers would be a plus.
Benefits:
$2,500 sign on Bonus paid out at following increments; $500 bonus at sign on, $1000 bonus at six months and $1000 bonus at one year of employment.
