Florence Animal Hospital is looking for a Groomer / Veterinary Assistant to join our team. We utilize our groomers and assistants to their fullest extent and strive to practice high quality medicine while offering exemplary service to our clients. Experience is desired, but we are willing and able to train the right candidate who has a desire to learn.
Responsibilities include:
Grooming and pet styling
Walking, feeding, and handling cats and dogs
Cleaning Kennels
Providing patient care including treatments, administering medications, assisting in surgery and recovery
Cleaning and maintenance of the veterinary hospital
Overseeing animal boarding and weekend care is required
Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians as needed
Carrying up to 50lbs
