Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsible for day-to-day collection activities including contacting past due customers to secure payments
Provide excellent customer service
Effectively handling irate customers
Multi-tasking through diverse client-facing systems to document calls and transfer funds accordingly
Understanding and retention of all necessary collection rules and regulations (which will be included in your new hire onboarding and training)
Other activities as identified by the Collections team. In addition to collections activities, the collector will be required to adhere to productivity and delinquency standards set by the management team.
Hours for this position are Monday-Friday and can vary from 7:00am CST to 7:00pm CST. The beginning shift for this role is 10:00 am - 7:00 pm, with the option to move into an earlier timeframe as available. (No weekends!)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
No experience? No problem! CGI will invest in your future success in the role using project-based learning for 3 weeks of PAID training onsite at our Troy, AL office. The hours of training will be 8a to 5p, Monday through Friday where perfect attendance will be required for completion.
Must successfully pass a CGI background check
Must possess a high school diploma or GED
