We are looking for an Accounting Manager for Baileys Furniture. The applicant must have an Accounting Degree and at least 5 years of accounting experience.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost control principles required.
Requires strong written and verbal communications skills.
Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections.
Proficient in QuickBooks, Word, and Excel.
Must be detailed oriented.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision but also as part of a team.
Quick, efficient and accurate data entry skills are a must.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Essential duties:
Prepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, etc
Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and control procedures
Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
Explain billing invoices and accounting policies to staff and clients
Resolve accounting discrepancies
Recommend, develop and maintain financial data bases, computer software systems and manual fililing systems
Supervise the imput of financial data and reports for the companies automated financial systems
Supervise accounting staff
