First National Bank Alaska (FNBA) is seeking a Cash Management Senior Department Associate. This position performs a full range of advanced administrative support functions within the bank, directly assisting at least one manager/supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Performs a full range of advanced administrative functions, often of a confidential or sensitive nature, composes non-routine correspondence and memoranda, develops and maintains extensive spreadsheets and databases, creates forms and templates, prepares and formats documents using various software programs for supervisor's presentations and reports.

2. Manages special projects to support functional area's strategic goals and objectives, compiles and summarizes data, performs analysis, creates reports for supervisor's review, maintains administrative support procedures, recommends process changes for greater work area efficiency, and implements approved process and procedural changes as directed by supervisor.

3. Functions as personal assistant to at least one manager/supervisor: schedules and coordinates meeting facilities and equipment, makes travel arrangements, and maintains the central task and event calendar, may attend and participate in meetings on supervisor's behalf as required, and is responsible for producing and distributing meeting minutes to appropriate personnel.

4. Assists with the work area budget process: maintains records of expenditures, ensures proper general ledger coding, analyzes variances, and reports back to supervisor.

5. May assist supervisor by coordinating the workload of junior administrative personnel and delegating clerical workload: functions as an administrative lead and provides guidance on projects as well as daily tasks.

6. Responds to internal and external customer requests for information and communicates with senior management as needed and maintains broad awareness of subject matter experts within the specified work area for effective bank related referrals.

7. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: Bachelor's degree in a business related field and one year advanced administrative experience, or four years advanced-level clerical, administrative, or related banking experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

Preferred: Six months lead experience. CPS or CAP certification. Project management experience.
