First National Bank Alaska, FNBA, is seeking a Commercial Teller with a proven track record of dependability and experience with cash tills of $5,000+. The ideal candidate will have extensive cash handling experience, strong attention to detail, ability to work closely with co-workers in a secure environment, and comprehend strict procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Receives checks, cash and coin for deposit, verifies amounts, and examines checks for proper endorsements.
2. Accepts utility bills, MasterCard, escrow, and loan payments, and issue receipts.
3. Ensures proper cash controls by securing, cleaning, packaging, and balancing currency daily.
4. Balances and prepares cassettes for off-site ATMs.
5. Prepares change orders.
6. Performs other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Six months Teller or moderate to heavy cash handling experience.
Preferred: Six months heavy cash handling experience.
