Alaska USA is currently recruiting for a Operations Accounting Manager in Anchorage, Alaska, to ensure proper control over daily operational accounting, reporting, and daily reconciliation activity functions for the Credit Union. Supervise Operations Accounting staff.
Four years' accounting or business administration related experience preferably in a financial institution. Must be well organized, have an analytical mind, be quick to learn and require minimal direct supervision. Demonstrate the ability to exercise good judgment and draw valid conclusions from data gathered. Must have good verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users. An understanding of accounting with specific experience in accounting controls involving automated systems preferred. Experience with the use of an automated general ledger reconciliation system is a plus.
