Willow Loft Preschool is currently hiring for an early childhood teacher to work with children ages 3-5 years.
WLP is a part day (3hrs each class) preschool program located in south-west Anchorage at the intersections of Jewel Lake & Raspberry Rd. There is one classroom with up to 20 students per session. We offer 2 sessions per day, September - May and closely follow the Anchorage School District calendar of attendance.
This position is part-time with an average work week being between 15-20 hours. Our program operates daily from 8:45am-3:45pm M-F. This position is a helper position to the regular full-time staff.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should demonstrate and bring to this position a high degree of maturity, responsibility, and a sincere interest in working with young children. Although a college degree is not required for this position, candidates must have positive work references and experience working with young children. Those who do have a degree or are enrolled in an early childhood program or relatable field at university are given priority.
Having a special talent such as being able to play a musical instrument(s) or speak another language is a positive.
All candidates will be required to become certified in 1st Aid/CPR and complete a state background check. Potential hires must be healthy and able to stand, sit and work on the floor for extended periods of time.
