Trauma Smart Coach –Support the implementation of high-quality
trauma informed care giver practices to enhance the impact of teacher-child interactions to
achieve positive outcomes for children. Use research-based strategies to support adult
learning and professional development of teachers (all classroom staff). Provide training
and coaching in trauma informed caregiving practices. Manage agency
efforts to support trauma informed care.
Minimum Requirements
Associate degree in a job related field required.
Minimum 1 year experience in trauma informed care and early childhood, birth to 5.
Knowledge of principals of adult learning, trauma informed care, ACE’s
Experience providing training
Pass a State and Federal Background Check
General Information:
Location: Based at the Administrative Office in Wasilla with travel to all CCS locations
Supervisor: Tabatha Peterson
Schedule: Part-time (30 hours per week), part-year (42 weeks per year)
Salary: $21.57 - $27.99 per hour DOE/E
