MTA is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer II to support the Engineering and Operations departments. The primary responsibility of this position is the systems and security administration for the server environment. This position will collaborate with the Engineers and management to research, recommend and develop strategies for all multi-user application software systems including Automated Provisioning, BI Reporting, Network Management Systems, AAA Authentication and Accounting Systems, etc. Works independently or as a team member to design and develop new programs and interfaces between application software systems. Responsible for and helps maintain the integrity of Engineering databases and applications and serves as a liaison with both internal and external entities on all technical issues related to application software systems.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience with current, practical, and applicable skills in systems development and programming is preferred. College coursework and/or work experience may be substituted for a degree. The Candidate must have a minimum of two years' experience with information technology application development, implementation, support and maintenance.
