AutoCAD Technician: Minimum 3-5 years experience in civil, pipeline and/or telecom industry drafting; motivated self starter, able to work from verbal and written instruction as well as redlines. Proficient with AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D, familiar with working within state plane coordinate systems, knowledgeable in import/export of shapefiles preferred. Experience with multi sheet sets of linear project a PLUS (i.e. highway projects, pipeline projects, long telecom projects). Experience working with sheet-sets a plus. Proficiency with MS Office products and Outlook email required. Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English required. Position will be for a 3 to 6 month term, with potential for continued employment at other locations for the right candidate if desired. Work location will be in Palmer, Alaska, with work to begin as soon as possible. This will be a union represented position with the IBEW 1547, with the associated pay and benefits.
