Barking Lot is hiring!
FULL TIME- 6:00am-3:00pm, 10:30am-7:30pm. 8 hour shifts with a 1 hour lunch.
These positions will work with the dogs managing group play and reading dog body language. Other duties will include washing dishes, general cleaning, and providing a high standard of care that we are known for! This is a rewarding job with animals but it is hard work. Staff does not just come here to play with dogs, we ACTIVELY monitor play and continuously practice expectations and cues with the dogs. Be ready for barking, poop, dog hair and a lot of physical work. Also be ready to have fun and to meet some great dogs!
Requirements:
Applicants should be 19 years of age and comfortable handling all types of dogs in a humane and positive manner. Previous dog handling experience is a plus. and expect to be physically active for your entire shift. You should be able to work equally well either independently or as a team. Along with a strong work ethic and physical stamina, you must be responsible, honest, patient, prompt and very dependable. You must possess good written and verbal communication skills, a sense of humor and most importantly, a positive attitude.
