Guest Service Manager - Front Office
The Embassy Suites Hotel is currently seeking a full-time Guest Service /Front Office Manager. This individual will oversee and manage the Front Desk team and is responsible for guest service scores. The successful candidate must be able to multi-task, be highly self-motivated, a self-starter, present a professional appearance, work well as a team player in a close team atmosphere and within a fast-paced environment. The position requires someone who has the ability to learn new computer programs and train others. The hotel Guest Service Manager must consistently deliver excellent service results that contribute to the overall success of the hotel and and lead a team that will deliver exemplary guest service everyday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
⢠Works to achieve and exceed guest satisfaction scores in all areas.
⢠Effectively trains guest service agents on proper front desk procedures.
⢠Recruits, interviews and selects the most qualified candidates for front desk positions.
⢠Prepares schedules for front office staff and ensures staffing is adequate.
⢠Address performance deficiencies of front office staff through coaching and disciplinary actions.
⢠Complete timely performance evaluations for front office staff.
⢠Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the hotel dress code.

⢠Able to build morale and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives.
⢠Personally demonstrates a commitment to guest service by anticipating and responding promptly to guest needs.
⢠Past management experience as well as hotel experience required.
