Responsible for assuring all guests are greeted and treated with excellent hospitality. Administrates restaurant reservations and controls the flow of guests in restaurant. In order to consistenly exceed guests expectations and provide the highest level services, additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed. ÂLooking for a candidate has pleasant and decent personality suitable to one of the old school and iconic restaurant in Anchorage, AK.Â
Qualifications -Â
Minimum six month of experience as a Waiter or hostess in the hsopitality industry.Â
Basic to intermediate skills using computerized reservations/or POS system.
Intermediate to advanced level English & communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and strong telephone etiquette skills.Â
Must be able to stand and walk for a full 5-6 hour shift. Must be able to work all shifts and holidays as required.Â
Must perform all the duties assigned.Â
Must be R.A.M.S. or T.A.M.S. certified. Â Â Â
Must be able to take orders and perform efficiently. Must posses planning and organizing skills.ÂÂ
Responsibilities -Â
Ensure the dining room is clean and tidy. ready for opening. Perform all pre and post meal set-ups and close down work.Â
Answer the phone within three rings,makes reservations and provide service and assistance to guests at the resturants entrance. All the guests warmly greeted with an eye contact.Â
Facilitates the flow of the restaurant with guest seating assignments and special request if so.Â
Monitors table to ensure correctly set with all utensils ,cutlery,Âglassware etc. in place.Â
When necessary assists servers in servicing tables.
Regularly walk the restaurant floor and ensure total customer satisfaction. Ensure it is clean and tidy at all the time. ÂÂ
