Assisted Living Home Caregiver- Full-time position available (Anchorage).
Compensation: $12-14/hr. Pay rate is based on work performance, dependability and work ethic.
Assisted Living Home (5 Bed) needs one full-time Caregiver to work Days M-F 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (and occasional evening/weekend shifts). No sleeping shifts. This is a primary, 40 hour per week job.
This job involves a little caregiving and a lot of housekeeping, cooking and laundry. Duties include, but are not limited to assisting Residents with ADLs and IADLs, medication assistance, showering Residents, cooking meals (planning, preparation and cleanup), house keeping & cleaning, laundry, shopping & putting away groceries/supplies, making appointments and escorting Residents to appointments, maintaining accurate records and other duties that are assigned as needed.
Applicants must:
- Have a dependable car & a current driver's license
- have a Current CPR/First Aid certification
- have had a Neg TB test within the last 12 months.
- get Finger printed
- get a DSDS Background clearance
- be able to speak, understand, read and write English adequately. (this is a State requirement)
