Small Day Habilitation Company is seeking an experienced Female habilitative care provider to work with adults experiencing developmental disabilities in the community. Applicants should be reliable, honest, trustworthy, patient, caring, respectful, positive, and fun loving, as well as willing to make a commitment and able to understand boundaries. Applicants should also be good-hearted, be willing to learn, possess good communication skills (both speaking and listening), practice safe caregiving and driving techniques, and make use of good old common sense. Company vehicle provided while working with clients. The position is 35 plus hours per week. Wages (DOE).
Monday through Friday - Open availability preferred.
Among other requirements, applicants must be able to kneel, bend at the waist, and lift moderate to heavy weights. Applicants must also be able to pass a background check, have a clean driving record, Possess automotive insurance, and possess current CPR/First Aid, and have a current TB, Clean Driving record, fluent in speaking/writing English.
