Medical Assistant Position
Job Overview: Providing excellent customer service to our patients, providers and co- workers. Working to maintain a high level of professionalism within a fast-paced medical clinic. The ideal candidate will have a friendly and easy-going personality while also being very perceptive and disciplined. Our goal is to make patients feel comfortable and valued while they are in our clinic.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Rooming patients (Vital Signs, Full intake and Medical history)
Phones incoming/outgoing (Medication refills, imaging and lab results)
Hight volume of follow up care required
Insurance Authorizations
Medical Records
Computer proficient
Understanding of basic insurance plans

Qualifications:
One year of health care industry experience in clinic setting
Professional, personable and caring
Familiar and capable of navigating computer programs
High School Diploma
Work Environment: This position is in a professional medical clinic. This position routinely uses computers, phones, scanner, copier and fax machine. This is a full-time position Monday – Friday
