Medical Scribe needed for a fast paced Family Medicine clinic. The central role of the Medical Scribe is to relieve the Physician or Mid-level Provider of clerical or secretarial duties; thus allowing them to focus more directly on clinical care. The scribe is an unlicensed person and exclusively non-clinical. They do not touch patients and do not engage in any type of patient care. A scribe's role is limited to documentation and efficiency management for the Provider. Knowledge of medical terminology is strongly preferred. You must have a typing speed of at least 60 words per minute. Be detailed-oriented with excellent verbal/written communication skills. Be a team player and willing to work with both Providers. Technology savvy, responsible, confident, and self motivated. This is a full time position. The work schedule is four days a week, ten hours a day.
