Our Endodontic office is looking for a part-time dental assistant who is committed to providing a high standard of care to our patients.
Our ideal candidate is a professional with 1+ years' experience; one who is mature, self-disciplined, reliable, and compassionate, has professional communication skills, good-judgment, integrity, and possesses a strong work ethic.
The schedule will be a 2 week on, 2 week off rotational schedule. Hours in those 2 weeks worked will range from 30-40 per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Typical duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Cordially represent the office to all patients, guests and phone inquires during office hours.
Keep operatories clean (OSHA Standards) and organized.
Ensure treatment trays are ready for each procedure.
Assist doctor in all Endodontic related procedures.
Make sure all Endodontic supplies are kept stocked and in order.
Clean/change all necessary solutions for all operatory equipment.
Keep current list of supplies to be ordered for ordering person.
Sterilization of all instruments (OSHA standards).
To assist co-workers when needed (other assistants and front desk).
Refer to list of "down time" duties when needed.
Endodontic experience is preferred but not required.
Compensation depends on experience.
